@olgaa 30 It could be all in the suspension setup. I’m sure there are many variables. Both cars are nice don’t be a dbag.
They have syncro issues (notchy shifting) the transmissions seem to hold up ok. You can get the transmission modded for $850 and not deal with that anymore. You’re more likely to break your center difftransfer case in an evo. If you’re not launching your car like a retard all the time you should be fine, but I would still suggest upgrading your TCCD. The Evo X has cast internals. The 03 – 05 VIII and the 06 IX have forged internals.
Aren’t old evos known for having bad transmissions? i wouldn’t want any except the new evo X…
